Padel FAQ

Quick answers to the questions I get asked most about playing padel in Singapore. Prices come from each club's listing on this site.
Last updated: November 2026.

How much does it cost to play Padel in Singapore?
Most public clubs charge about $100 per court for 60 minutes or $150 for 90 minutes. Off-peak rates start from around $50 to $72 an hour at clubs such as The Sports Arina (Jalan Kayu), Furama Padel and Ricochet Padel. A court holds four players, so most people pay roughly $13 to $40 each per session.

How do I book a Padel court in Singapore?
Most clubs take bookings through the Playtomic app, including The Cage, Padel Co, Padel X and The Sports Arina. A few use their own apps (Pop Padel, Love All). Each club page on Play Padel SG links straight to its booking page.

How many Padel clubs are there in Singapore?
As of November 2026, there are 26 padel clubs across Singapore, plus clubs in Johor Bahru, Bintan and Batam which are nearby to Singapore. The largest are Prime Padel Dempsey and Love All Clementi, with seven courts each. See the full list by region on the All Clubs page.

Where can I play padel indoors or when it rains?
Padel X and The Sports Arina, both at Singapore EXPO, have fully indoor, air-conditioned courts. Pop Padel (Redhill), Bedok Padel, PadelStation (Jurong), Pickle Padel Movement (Woodleigh) and The Sports Arina (Jalan Kayu) have covered courts, and Ricochet Sentosa has rain-covered courts. Most other clubs are outdoor, so heavy rain can stop play.

Do I need my own racket to start?
No. Most clubs rent rackets, and where there is a fee it is usually $5 to $10. Wear tennis or padel shoes rather than running shoes, and bring plenty of water for outdoor courts.

Where can beginners learn padel in Singapore?
Most clubs offer coaching, including beginner sessions. Browse coaches on the Coaches page, or ask your nearest club about intro classes. Many players find padel quicker to pick up than tennis because the court is smaller, serves are underarm and the walls keep the ball in play.

How do I find people to play padel with?
Join open matches on Playtomic or Padel Mates, where you can filter by level. Most clubs also run WhatsApp groups to fill games, and the join links are on each club page.

Can I play at members-only clubs?
Some private clubs have padel courts, including Hollandse Club, Swiss Club and Madison House. They are mainly for members and their guests, so check each club page for guest rules.

Where can I play padel near Singapore on a weekend away?
Padelstop in Johor Bahru has four indoor courts, and The Sanchaya resort in Bintan has two outdoor courts. See the Travel page for Padel getaways and retreats.

What do you need to play?

  • A racquet. Most Singapore clubs rent them, so you don't need to buy one to try it.

  • Shoes. Tennis or padel shoes give the grip you need. Avoid running shoes.

  • Balls. Bring a can of padel balls, or check whether your club provides them.

  • Water and sun protection for outdoor courts.

How to start playing padel in Singapore

  1. Find a club near you on the All Clubs page. Pick an indoor or covered court if you want to avoid the sun and rain.

  2. Book a court on Playtomic or the club's own app. A court costs around $100 to $150 for 60–90 minutes, split between four players.

  3. Take a lesson. A beginner class or a session with a coach from the Coaches page gets you rallying fast.

  4. Find players through Playtomic, Padel Mates or your club's WhatsApp group.
