Top Reads For Padel Players

If, like me, playing Padel is not enough and you want to do more than doom scrolling Instagram posts and Youtube videos all day to get your Padel fix off the court, then picking up a book could be just what you’re looking to fill that void.

I’ve always liked the idea of reading, but have found all too often that my motivation to finish a book is very different to starting one unless I'm really interested in the topic. Which made me think about checking out a couple of Padel books.

Good news is that I have 3 book recommendations that are perfect during your down time whether it’s before bed to wind down after a long day, jumping on a flight, chilling by the pool on holiday, having “me time” with a coffee (or something stronger) or if you’re looking for quick and easy gift ideas for your Padel addicted loved ones:

Padel Philosophy by Simon J Cassine

This cheeky little book is filled with 105 satirical quotes based on well known philosophies, each with a Padel twist that make it a great toilet book or inexpensive gift for someone if you’re short on ideas for them.

No matter what level you are, we’ve all heard or have our own favourite and quirky Padel quotes on and off the court but you’ll be guranteed to find a whole bunch of new ones to impress your friends with!

The Padel Player's Guide by Sandy Farquharson

The Padel School needs little to no introduction. If you’ve ever searched for Padel coaching videos online, it’s almost 100% likely you’ve come across their content.

Founded by former professional tennis player Sandy Farquharson (and later joined by his brother Tom), it has become a leading resource dedicated to teaching and promoting Padel, particularly for English-speaking players globally.

This book is structured to guide new players through the fundamentals of Padel, help intermediate players refine their skills, and equip advanced players with strategies to outmaneuver stronger opponents

Who hasn't said: 'I'm done with Padel!'? by Cristina Vulart de Torres

Yes, even though I have this incredible love affair with Padel, even I’ve said this, and I’m sure you have too! Sometimes your toughest opponent can be yourself and this book looks at the psychological side of Padel performance.

Essentially it aims to equip readers with practical tools and psychological insights to transform negative emotions and mental hurdles we all feel throughout our time on court into strengths.

Something we all need!

Let me know in the comments if you’ve read any (or all) of these and what you think about them, or alternatively if there are any other Padel books (available in english) that I should consider reading!
